Pricing Analyst

Overview

The Pricing Analyst will be primarily responsible for developing price proposals in support of our business growth goals, strategic initiatives, and diverse service offerings.  The Pricing Analyst will coordinate, evaluate, and prepare price proposals for government and commercial customers. This position will report to corporate headquarters in the Warrenton, VA area, telework available. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed cost/price models and prepare complete price volumes in accordance with solicitation requirements
  • Work with the technical program team to understand the proposed scope of work to ensure consistent approach with reasonable and realistic pricing
  • Ensure the timely generation of pricing submissions in compliance with solicitation requirements and established review/approval processes
  • Monitor, analyze, and report project performance of awarded contracts
  • Respond to management inquiries regarding financial results and support special reporting requests
  • Assist with project invoicing to customers
  • Support the annual budget and forecasting activities
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university, desired
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with preparing price proposals, including price volume narratives and cost/price spreadsheets
  • Experience in federal contracting with a knowledge of pricing, contracts, and the FAR
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, cost accounting standards, indirect and direct cost allocations, and indirect rates formulation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet tight schedules, with a willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends if necessary to meet proposal deadlines
  • Must be able to lift twenty-five (25) pounds
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government personnel security clearance.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both in speech and writing.
  • Must be able to conduct travel a minimum of 10% of work time.
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 fully vaccinated vaccination, required.
